Founded in 2016, the Triangle Irish Sports Youth Association (TISYA) promotes and organizes Gaelic football and hurling for girls and boys age 6 through 16 in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on offering youngsters the opportunity to gain a sense of sportsmanship, camaraderie and community while developing themselves physically and personally. TISYA aims to allow players to experience new sports and train and compete in organized games while discovering the joys of the national sports of Ireland.

TISYA is affiliated with the Raleigh Cú Chulainn Gaelic Athletic Association, an adult men’s and women’s Gaelic football, hurling and camogie club playing in the Southeast Division of the North American County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association of Ireland. In addition to winning numerous regional tournaments since their inception in 2012, the men’s Gaelic Football team captured the Junior B National Champions’ title in 2014. It’s this tradition of winning and excellence that we seek to impart on all of the girls and boys who play these fine sports with us.
