Charlotte Recap
Last week Raleigh traveled down to Charlotte to play in the Connolly Cup. Raleigh’s first game was against Winston-Salem and Raleigh prevailed without much difficulty. Raleigh next played against Charlotte A and entered half-time only down by 6 despite missing a fair amount of frees. Alas, Charlotte would continue to push their lead in the 2nd half and the home team emerged victorious. Raleigh players then joined a combined South East team for the final and the combined team won on a thrilling
last second goal from former Raleigh and current Atlanta player Chris Kendrick. Well played to all who traveled down!
