Raleigh Cú Chulainn hosts FOUR home games on Saturday July 20th at 7417 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC. Raleigh are the winners of the 2013 Peach Cup and play teams from Baltimore and Charlotte.

Raleigh Cú Chulainn hosts FOUR home games on Saturday July 20th at 7417 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC. Raleigh are the winners of the 2013 Peach Cup and play teams from Baltimore and Charlotte. Kickoff is at 1pm and the teams will be Lead in by the Wake & District Pipes and Drums band of Raleigh, NC. After which the ball will be thrown in by Miss NC Rose of Tralee.
You can meet the teams later that evening in Moore Square at the ‘Taste of Blount street and City market’ event. There will be live Irish music and much more plus an after party at Tir Na nOg from 5pm till 10pm.

  • 12:30 pm Opening Ceremonies (Teams march out on field with pipe band, Priest’s Blessing, Singing of the National Anthems, Ceremonial throw-in by Rose)

  • 2:20 pm Game 2 – Football: Raleigh B v. Charlotte B
    • Raleigh B 1-5 (0-4)* v Charlotte B 3-13 (1-5)*
  • 4:00 pm Game 3 – Football: Charlotte A v. Baltimore (35 min game)
    • Charlotte A 3-10 v Baltimore 2-5
  • 4:45 pm Game 4 – Football: Charlotte A v. Baltimore (35 min game)
    • Raleigh A 2-9 v Baltimore 2-7
  • 5:30 pm Game 4 – Hurling: Raleigh v. Combined Charlotte & Baltimore
    • Raleigh 8-08 v Combined Charlotte & Baltimore 5-07
  • 6:40 pm Conclude & Head to Downtown Raleigh for night at Tir na Nog.
