Entertainment during the festival will include:

Main Stage – Bands playing Celtic music throughout the day

  • 11-12pm Last Trip Home – Uilleann Pipes/whistles, guitar/mandolin
  • 12-1pm Dublin Down – Irish ballads and aires
  • 1-2ppm BarrowBurn – traditional Celtic music
  • 2-3pm My Three Kilts – “ain’t your grandpa’s Celtic Music”

 

  • 3-4pm Shanachie – Irish Folk Music
  • 4-5pm Jerry McCrudden – from Belfast Ireland, a grand entertainer
  • 5-6pm Ewe’s Tree -wide range of Irish Music
  • 6-7pm Barleycorn & Rye – mix of Irish and American roots music

Irish Session tent – open throughout the day to the public – all musicians welcome

  • Hosted by session players from the Triangle area
  • Featuring fiddle, guitar, banjo, bodhrán, tin whistle, flute, harp and squeeze box players (and other instruments as well!)
  • a great variety of jigs, reels, polkas and aires

Irish Cultural Interest Tent

  • Assorted Irish and Celtic topics will be demonstrated and discussed

Irish Step Dancing and Ceili dancing  held on Martin Street

  • 2:00 Inis Cairde school of Irish Dance
  • 2:30 Rince na h’Eireann School of Irish Dance
  • 3:00 Rince Go Halainn Irish Dance Academy
  • 3:30 Tríonóide Academy of Irish Dance
  • 4:00 Ceili dancing

Ceili dancing for all interested will follow the Irish Step Dancing. Bring your lawn chairs, bring some friends and stay a while
